It was a back-to-back victory for the Miss Philippines beauties who represented the country for the Miss Earth pageant - Jamie Herrell in 2014 and Angelia Ong in 2015.

Angelia Gabrena Paglicawan Ong was born on June 27, 1990 (age 25) in in Lapuz Norte, Lapuz, Iloilo City. She finished her high school from Hua Siong College of Iloilo and pursued college education in Manila taking up Marketing Management at the De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde in 2012.

Beauty Titles
She represented Iloilo City at the Binibining Pilipinas 2011 pageant and was awarded the Face of Bb. Pilipinas 2011 special award.
She finished Second Runner-Up at Miss Manila 2014 Pageant.
She was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2015 on May 31 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
She represented the Philippines in the Miss Earth 2015 pageant on 5 December 2015 at Marx Halle, Vienna, Austria, where she was crowned the winner.

Among the 37 hopefuls from all over the country, Ong bested them all. In the Question and Answer Portion, she was asked about her view on same sex marriage. She responded: "If the person feels he or she needs to be married to show his or her love, then I don't mind having [same] sex marriage.” "If you feel that that is love, then so be it."

Miss Earth 2015
Miss Philippines Earth 2015, Angelia Ong, beat out other 85 beauties from around the globe, on 5 December 2015 at Marx Halle, Vienna, Austria.

She said, “If I were to make a slogan for the next 15 years for Miss Earth, that will be ‘We will, because we can.’ I want to let everybody know that all things are possible and all things are feasible if we work together. We will, because we can.”
