Repertory Philippines (REP) is set to bring audiences a rollercoaster of laughs and poignant moments with their latest production, "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change." Running from June 14 to July 6 at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium in RCBC Plaza, this musical comedy explores the complexities of modern relationships with a fresh perspective.

Written by Joe DiPietro with music by Jimmy Brooks, "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" first premiered at the Westside Theatre in 1996. Set in a bustling metropolis reminiscent of today's world, the show delves into the nuances of love and dating in the digital age, tackling topics like swiping left or right, navigating situationships, and dealing with ghosting.



What sets this production apart is its stellar cast of four actors portraying a whopping 40 characters, each bringing a unique flair to the stage. Gian Magdangal, known for his exceptional singing and acting chops, returns to REP after his memorable performance in "Carousel," which earned him critical acclaim. Joining him is Gabby Padilla, a rising star recognized for her film roles and recent accolades.

Krystal Kane makes her comeback after a hiatus, bringing her theatrical expertise to the production. Marvin Ong, a PHILSTAGE Gawad Buhay Awardee, also joins the cast, adding his remarkable talents to the mix. The production is further supported by swings Barbara Jance and Davy Narciso, adding depth and versatility to the ensemble.
